DinKapital adds value to your savings – being a low risk product and showing a 5% return at present.

On the whole, all new customers with savings will be connected automatically to DinKapital; however if you have been our customer since before May 2017 – and are depositing into our savings products via your employer – then you are free to make a choice.

If you contribute with less than DKK 1,000 every month to VækstPension, LinkPension or HøjrentePension, the value of adding DinKapital will be very little and therefore of little interest to you. Give your pension adviser a call 70 33 99 99.

You will receive a return of 5% at present

At present, the return is 5% which is rather solid in relation to the low risk.

As a rule the rate of interest will be fixed annually, however it may change on a monthly basis.

5% of your contributions

5% of your future contributions made via your employer to VækstPension, LinkPension and HøjrentePension will be added to your savings in DinKapital.

The savings will be tied while you are a customer at Nordea Liv & Pension – however you can always stop making contributions to your DinKapital

Low risk

By choosing DinKapital, risk capital will be made available for your pension providing company.

DinKapital will form part of the capital base of Nordea Liv & Pension at a low risk. We would have to lose all the common reserves, the company’s equity and all tier 1 capital before DinKapital would have to cover a loss.

Investment

5% of your contributions made to your savings in VækstPension, LinkPension or HøjrentePension will be invested in DinKapital giving you an attractive and stable return at a low risk. DinKapital forms part of the capital base of Nordea Liv & Pension and therefore provides safety for the customers’ savings. Read more about this in “More about risk”.

Technically, DinKapital forms part of the company’s capital base as so-called “subordinated capital”, i.e. before DinKapital would have to cover a possible loss, Nordea Liv & Pension would have to lose all its common reserves, the company’s equity and tier 1 capital. During the 150 years of this company this has never happened – moreover, it has never happened to a Danish life insurance company.
