You do not have to submit your income tax card to us. We automatically receive information about your personal income tax rate and tax relief, if any, from SKAT.
If your tax exemption applies for as long as you are living abroad, you do not have to do anything.
If you have just moved from Denmark and been granted tax exemption, you must submit to us the letter of exemption from the local authority from which you are moving.
If your tax exemption applies for one year, you must submit a new letter of exemption to us every year. If your tax exemption applies for multiple years, you do not have to submit a new one until the old one expires.
You must submit the original letter, not a copy.
If you are moving back to Denmark and therefore no longer are exempt from payment of tax, you must remember to contact us about your new tax information.
We will automatically receive notification from SKAT if you change your preliminary tax assessment during the year.
You only need to notify us if you want to switch between your primary and secondary income tax cards so that we use the primary tax card in future (or vice versa).
You must also contact us if you have a tax exemption card and want to switch to your primary/secondary tax card, or if you are moving back to Denmark and therefore no longer are exempt from payment of tax.
You can call our customer centre on +45 70 33 99 99 or send an e-mail to email@example.com.
We must have your new tax information on or before the 10th day of a month for us to change the next benefit payment.
Every year, we report your benefit payments to SKAT.
Right after New Year, you will receive a pension statement listing your benefit payments for the new year.
